THE GENERAL DATA

The control of level of a working liquid of transmission

 


Level of a working liquid is checked on heated-up transmission (the liquid temperature should be not less than 40 °). Preliminary warming up of transmission is made as follows.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To get the car on the lift or a viewing hole. The car should settle down horizontally that results of check of level of a liquid were correct.
2. To place suitable capacity under a stopper of an aperture for the control of level of a liquid.
3. To start the Engine and to allow to it to work idling approximately 5 minutes. If there is a possibility, it is possible to warm up also transmission by car run on distance of several kilometres.
4. At the pressed brake pedal consistently to pass the selector of ranges of a transmission all positions, maintaining in each position a pause in some seconds. Then to return the selector in position Р (Parking).
5. To turn out a stopper of a control aperture. Normal level of a working liquid can be as above, and below an edge of a control aperture. In the first case the liquid will follow from a control aperture.
The prevention

Вытекание to a hot working liquid from a control aperture can lead to burns.


At вытекании liquids from a control aperture it is possible that Transmission has been overflowed. After the leak of a liquid from an aperture has stopped, level of a working liquid in crankcase will correspond to norm. To establish into place a stopper and to tighten its moment of 12 Nanometers.
If the working liquid does not follow from an open control aperture, probably that liquid level in transmission below norm. In this case it is necessary to pour in through a jellied aperture in crankcase a working liquid in the small portions (on 0,5) prior to the beginning leakage it from a control aperture, but all no more than 1,5 l. If thus the liquid has started to follow from a control aperture, its level was in norm.
To allow to a superfluous liquid to merge completely from a control aperture and to establish into place a stopper. To tighten a stopper of a control aperture the moment of 12 Nanometers.
If after addition of one and a half litres level of a working liquid has not risen to the bottom edge of a control aperture (the liquid does not follow from a control aperture) it means that level of a working liquid about transmission was below norm. Leaks of a working liquid are possible also. It is necessary to examine transmission on presence of traces of leaks and to eliminate all found out malfunctions before leading up level of a working liquid to norm.
6. After end of check of level of a working liquid to wipe rags traces of smudges on a surface crankcase transmissions. To check up correctness of installation of a cover of a jellied aperture and a ventilating tube.

Having added a working liquid to normal level after transmission repair

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Depending on repair type it is necessary to pour in in transmission charter-party a working liquid in following quantity.
The repair connected with демонтажем of the pallet crankcase of transmission (without removal of transmission from the car) – 7 l.
Hydrotransformer replacement – 2,5 l.
The repair connected with full dismantling of transmission – 10 l.
2. To execute operations with the first on the fourth on check of level of a working liquid.
3. Through a jellied aperture to pour in in crankcase a working liquid in the big portions (on 0,5) prior to the beginning leakage it from a control aperture.
4. To allow to a superfluous liquid to merge completely from a control aperture and to establish into place a stopper. To tighten a stopper of a control aperture the moment of 12 Nanometers.
5. After finishing of level of a working liquid to norm to wipe rags traces of smudges on a surface crankcase transmissions. To check up correctness of installation of a cover of a jellied aperture and a ventilating tube.
