6.13. The generator

Unlike other three-phase cars on generator CS-121 it is used only two conclusions: for плюсового wires (-) and for plug L of a signalling device of the category of the battery. Plugs R, I, S are additional. Plug R conclusion is connected to a winding статора and can be used for work of a tachometre or other devices. As well as on other cars, the signalling device of the category of the battery lights up at ignition inclusion. After start-up of the engine the signalling device should go out. If the indicator was not switched off after engine start-up the generator is faulty. The indicator burns with full heat at strong increase or a voltage reduction in an electric network.

The pressure regulator operates a current of excitation of an anchor for pressure stabilisation in the car electric system. The regulator periodically (with frequency about 400 Hz) switches on and off a current in a winding of excitation of the generator. Average size of a current in a winding of excitation and pressure of the generator depend on a parity длительностей phases of inclusion and current deenergizing. At high frequency of rotation of an anchor duration of a phase of inclusion of a current decreases to 10 % of the period, and on small frequency increases to 90 % of the period.
