THE GENERAL DATA

The prevention

To disconnect plug "ВАТ" from the ignition or distributor block.


The compression in engine cylinders is checked for definition of a technical condition of piston rings and density прилегания valves to saddles. A compression check at opened throttle and air заслонках, the turned out spark plugs and well charged storage battery. The compression in separate cylinders should not differ strongly. The least pressure in cylinders should be not more low 689 кПа and to make not less than 70 % from the maximum value for all cylinders. On each cylinder make measurements during four steps of compression.

Normal state of piston rings and valves

Pressure in cylinders accrues quickly and in regular intervals to rating value.

Deterioration of piston rings

On the first step of compression pressure low, on the subsequent steps pressure increases, but does not reach rating value. At a gulf in engine oil cylinders (on 20–25 ml) the compression considerably increases.

Leaky прилегание valves to saddles

On the first and subsequent steps of compression pressure remains low. At a gulf in cylinders of engine oil the compression essentially does not improve. For a gulf in cylinders it is necessary to use a piston supercharger.
