ECU regulates engine work idling by means of the idling valve (КХХ), established in the case throttle заслонки. КХХ regulates frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft at the expense of dispensing of the expense of air through roundabout the channel a parallel throttle заслонке. On each operating impulse the engine rotor turns on a certain corner, displacing by means of the screw mechanism запорный an element of the valve concerning a saddle. Change of section of the valve through passage between запорным an element and a saddle provides regulation of the expense of air on the roundabout channel. By means of KHH ECU supports the set turns of the idling which values are stored in memory ECU in the form of function from temperature of a cooling liquid, a switch signal "Parking / a neutral", speeds of the car, pressure of the storage battery and pressure in a contour of a central air of air. ECU defines position запорного element КХХ, proceeding from demanded frequency of idling of the heated-up engine for various conditions of its work (for example when the selector of an automatic transmission is in position "Parking" or "Movement", the conditioner is included or switched off etc.) . Values of frequency it is single го an engine course are stored in ROM where the information remains and after ignition deenergizing. This data is a starting point for ECU at calculation of current position КХХ. Similar algorithm ECU excludes dependence of frequency of idling from any casual and систематичес ких factors, for example, from degree of deterioration of the engine or casual deviations throttle заслонки from nominal position at the released pedal of an accelerator. ECU provides automatic maintenance of frequency of idling at demanded level. On the other hand, at switching-off of food ECU normal work of the engine idling can be broken. Thereof at engine start-up it can partially be necessary to press an accelerator pedal while ECU will not start to supervise engine idling automatically.

Frequency of idling of the engine depends on the expense of air arriving in an inlet collector. This total expense develops of air expense through КХХ, the expense through covered throttle заслонку and the small expense of air through the vacuum hoses connecting the inlet pipeline with various vacuum devices. Initial position throttle заслонки at the released pedal of an accelerator is adjusted and fixed by the restrictive screw on manufacturer. This position заслонки provides the sufficient expense of air in the inlet pipeline for installation запорного element КХХ in demanded discrete position at automatic adjustment of frequency. It is necessary to notice that with reference to the given engine, initial position throttle заслонки cannot be considered as position corresponding to the minimum frequency of idling. The head of the restrictive screw of idling is closed by a cap.


The prevention

It is forbidden to remove a protective cap of the restrictive screw and to make adjustment. Wrong adjustment can lead to damage КХХ or cases throttle заслонки.


ECU makes updating of calibration of position запорного element КХХ after each inclusion of ignition and achievement of speed of the car more than 48 km/h at moderate acceleration. Calibration procedure includes full retraction запорного an element, then its release before full closing of the valve with the subsequent partial tap from a valve saddle in the set position. At valve EBU closing fixes initial "zero" position запорного an element from which readout of discrete steps is established. If after described procedure-calibration ECU in a condition to support nominal frequency of idling in a certain range of discrete positions запорного element КХХ, the received calibration remains up to the subsequent deenergizing and inclusion of ignition, start-up of the engine and dispersal of the car till the speed above 48 km/h. Otherwise ECU will repeat procedure of calibration of position КХХ until nominal frequency of idling of the engine will not be supported in the set range of discrete positions запорного element КХХ.
