16.4. Check of size of forces of a friction in a suspension bracket
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Together with the assistant to undertake hands a back bumper and to lift a back part of the car probably above. Smoothly and slowly to lower the car until it will not come to position of static balance.
2. To measure distance on a vertical from a floor to the bumper middle.
3. To press a bumper from above and to lower a car back probably more low. Then, smoothly and slowly reducing effort, to give the chance to the car to come to position of static balance.
4. To measure distance on a vertical from a floor to the bumper middle. At a normal friction in a suspension bracket the difference between two results of measurements should not exceed 12,7 mm. If the difference exceeds this value, it is necessary to check up a condition of levers of a suspension bracket on presence of signs of deterioration or damages.
